Why we need your help

In some countries, people can’t access safe, legal abortions.

People like Lena*, who told us, ““I need your help. I am stuck, I have young children and look after them alone, I don’t have parents or a partner to help me, which is why I need an abortion” 

We can’t help clients like Lena without you.

Abortion Support Network provides information, logistical support and financial assistance to people in Europe who have to travel to access an abortion.

We mainly hear from people in Ireland, Poland, and France but we can help anyone in Europe travel for an abortion. Since 2009, we have been contacted by over 10,000 people needing help to access a safe, legal abortion.

We fund abortions for people travelling from Poland through our work with Abortion Without Borders/Aborcja Bez Granic.

Since its launch in 2019, the organisations in Abortion without Borders have collectively helped more than 100,000 people in Poland with signposting to services, information (including on early medical abortion pills by post), and financial assistance to travel for an abortion.
